Anne McCarthy: I traveled to Kenya, Africa last summer for a graduate course in Human and Wildlife Conflict and Conservation. Alex, the owner of The Golden Eagle (pictured) in Nairobi city made a few calls and 45 minutes later a choice of fabrics was delivered via motorcycle (pictured). I chose the one I did because it included Acacia trees and bomas (homes) in which the Maasai tribe lives. Getting this fabric was a mission and I cannot wait to see what the bags look like once made.
